Our advanced education in technical, personal and professional skill development has been recognized and praised by state and community leaders as a workforce development model of the 21st century. Every designer goes through four levels of skill certification and receives weekly training in all the services we provide to our customers. Our "whole person" concept of education is a part of Kaizen, the art of life-long learning. We administer the Washington State Cosmetology Apprenticeship Program which gives each associate over 150 hours of education every year in addition to our in-salon training. Learning never stops at Studio 904. It takes hours of training and hard work for each Studio 904 designer to learn "our special way" of providing quality haircuts, colors and perms for our clients. Our stylists receive a certification when they accomplish each level of our technical, personal and professional development training. We do this so our customers can receive the quality and consistency in services from every stylist, each time you visit our salon.State of the Art Laser Disk Training System: Studio 904 has implemented Pivot Point's Master Designer training system to hone in on the skills of our stylists. You can expect more innovation as well as the latest techniques in hair design from all the stylists. Book of Kaizen. A training system for excellent service: Our nationally recognized training system, "Book of Kaizen" (a Japanese word for life long learning) is what sets us apart. Studio 904's Book of Kaizen was designed to offer our clients with consistency in quality of technical skills and customer service. These training modules offer a clear-cut career pathway to help our stylists and salon coordinators progress onto higher skill levels, thus resulting in higher wages, as they progress from one level to the next. |
